Biography
Vijesh Bhagat is a Doctoral Researcher at UQIDAR (University of Queensland-Indian Institute Of Technology, Delhi). He received his B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh India. He did his M.Tech. with a specialization in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from the International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur, India (IIIT- NR). The subjects he studied during his graduation (B.Tech.-2019) and post-graduation (M.Tech.- 2022) helped him to shape the futuristic idea of research in the field of AI for the welfare of mankind and led him to explore the new dimensions of the field on his voyage of higher studies. In the past, he worked on Fundus Images of the eye to Detect Diabetic Retinopathy(DR) and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease ( COPD ) using CT Scan Images and Cough Audio Samples. Currently, he is working on multimodal sensor data fusion to detect human fatigue. His research interests include Pattern Recognition, Biomedical Image and Signal Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
