Alongside expert talks covering a range of topics, student teams at Neurorehack also developed projects at their home institutions. As part of the event, I delivered a lecture and supervised students working with VR and markerless motion capture.
The gifs below showcases their attempt to analyze the kinematics of athletes at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. Using OpenPose and DeepLabCut, the students explored how these tools perform when tracking movements of individuals with lower-limb amputations.
