It was very intense recently for all participating at the Bionics Challenge 2021. This year, teams from all over Australia presented innovations in different categories, such as bionic mobility and bionic senses.
Our team from UQ and Metro North has been awarded the Early-Stage Innovation Award with the project SEOUL (Sensory Experiences in Occupational therapy for Upper Limbs). More information in the video below.
I was also involved in the project led by Dr Vanesa Bochezanian from CQU. The project (E-Stim: new bionic innovation treatment for people with physical disabilities) has also been awarded an Early-Stage Innovation Award.
