After four intense and rewarding years in Brisbane, working at the University of Queensland, I’m excited to share that I have moved to Oslo to join the Department of Mechanical, Electronic, and Chemical Engineering at Oslo Metropolitan University. As an Associate Professor in Mechatronics, I will be overseeing academic activities in the discipline alongside my new colleagues.
I will continue collaborating closely with PhD candidates and researchers at the University of Queensland, where I will hold an Honorary position. I also hope to foster stronger research ties between Norway and Australia.
At the same time, I am officially stepping down as a tenured academic at the University of Brasília. Leaving a place where I have learned and grown so much is never easy, but I know I will always return to collaborate with colleagues and students.
